EMERG are an independently operated membership-based intensive care paramedic service exclusively for residents of Flinders and Shoreham, with the intent to eventually expand into other areas of the Mornington Peninsula.

In isolated communities, it can often take a long time to receive life-saving medical assistance.

We bring a dedicated, intensive care paramedic to your doorstep 24/7, 365 days a year, equipped with advanced training, experience, and state-of-the-art medical equipment.

  • In addition to providing an intensive care paramedic response direct to our members, EMERG aims to support various health initiatives within the community. At the end of the day, our aim is to save as many lives as possible and we aim to help facilitate this by:

    o   Running face-to-face first aid training within the community.

    o   Provide automated external defibrillators to both members and within various public locations.

    o   Promote and support the uptake of volunteer-based technologies such as the GoodSAM app.

FAQs

  • EMERG should not replace your membership with Ambulance Victoria and you should continue to call 000 in case of an emergency.

    EMERG are an additional response team who works closely with AV and can be contacted in addition to 000. As we are located in Flinders, our response time to your home will be within 10 minutes, which could be the difference between life and death.
